With four health educators on staff, DAGC provides direct services to the 1 in 11 people affected by type 1 and type 2 diabetes in this community. DAGC is not affiliated with the American Diabetes Association or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
The Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes draws people together from all over Greater Cleveland in a healthy activity for an important cause. All money raised stays right here in Northeast Ohio to support prevention and risk assessment, diabetes education, and Camp Ho Mita Koda for children with diabetes.
