INDIVIDUAL PRIZES
To qualify for all prizes, pledges must be turned in by
Friday, May 21, 2010
(postmarked by Thursday, May 20, 2010).

  • A commemorative 25th Anniversary Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes T-Shirt with $65+ in pledges (Please indicate t-shirt size on registration form. T-shirts will be available for pickup with Indians tickets or, if not applicable, will be mailed after June 12, 2010).

  • One FREE Lower Reserved Ticket with $100+ in pledges to watch the Cleveland Indians vs. Washington Nationals on Saturday, June 12 (7:05pm at Progressive Field). Additional discounted tickets for family members and friends will be available. You must order your free ticket and additional tickets on this website after the event. Order form will be available after the event. All tickets must be placed on one order at the same time to be seated together.

  • Parade Progressive Field before the Saturday, June 12 Cleveland Indians game against the Washington Nationals (7:05pm at Progressive Field) for $200+ in collected pledges.

Please Note: The t-shirt, free ticket, and parade the field are cumulative prizes, meaning that you qualify for all three prizes if you reach the $200+ prize level. If you raise $100, you will qualify for the t-shirt and free ticket. The prizes listed in the table below are not cumulative. Only one prize per participant.

$3,000+ Priceless One-hour Private Swim Instruction by Olympian Diana Munz and her Swim Coach Jerry Holtrey (at a mutually agreeable place and time)
$2,000-$2,999 2 Party Deck Tickets to a future Cleveland Indians game (based on availability); Includes 2 All-You-Can-Eat Buffets (alcohol not included).
$1,000-$1,999 2010 SWINGS-N-THINGS Season "PLUS PASS� for a Family of Four! 2nd Prize:

Camp Ho Mita Koda Camper Prize

Attention Camp Ho Mita Koda Campers, make plans to have FUN and SWIM with your family and friends at Solon High School on Saturday, May 8 from 12:00-3:00 pm.
  • The highest money earner among children with type 1 or type 2 diabetes ages, 6-15, will win the opportunity to be the kid to announce, �Play Ball� before the Wednesday, August 25, Diabetes Association of Greater Cleveland, Cleveland Indians �Fill The House� Night!

TEAM PRIZES

Top YMCA Prize

The YMCA Swim Team that collectively raises the most money for the Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes will receive a personal visit from Olympic Swimmer Diana Munz and her Coach, Jerry Holtrey with a Pizza Party! (Date to be determined).The YMCA will also receive recognition on the scoreboard at Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes Night at Progressive Field and a Recognition Award Plaque to display at the YMCA! Participants must indicate YMCA name on registration form. Registrants in this category are not eligible for general team prizes.

Top School Prize

The elementary, middle, or high school that collectively raises the most money for the Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes will receive a PEP RALLY FROM SLIDER, recognition on the scoreboard at Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes Night at Progressive Field and a Recognition Award Plaque to display at school! Create your own PTA fundraiser such as dress down for diabetes days! Participants must indicate school name on registration form. Registrants in this category are not eligible for general team prizes.

Top College Prize

The college that collectively raises the most money for the Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes will receive recognition on the scoreboard at Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes Night at Progressive Field and a Recognition Award Plaque. Participants in this category must indicate the name of the college and the name of the sorority or fraternity on registration form. Registrants in this category are not eligible for general team prizes.

Top Sorority or Fraternity Prize

The sorority or fraternity that collectively raises the most money for the Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes will receive recognition on the scoreboard at Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes Night at Progressive Field and a Trophy to display in your house! Participants in this category must indicate the name of the college and the name of the sorority or fraternity on registration form. Registrants in this category are not eligible for general team prizes.

Team with the Most Registered Swimmers*

The team with the most registered swimmers will receive recognition on the scoreboard at Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes Night at Progressive Field.

Team with the Most Overall Money Raised*

The Team with the most overall money raised will receive recognition on the scoreboard at Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes Night at Progressive Field.

*Please note that team prizes are for non-school teams.

We encourage all team swimmers to swim at the same pool, but this isn't required. To be eligible for team prizes, all swimmers must indicate Team Name at time of registration. Swimmers are eligible for team prizes as well as individual prizes.
