Event Information

When is the Swim?
The event is taking place Friday, Saturday, Sunday, May 14, 15, 16, 2010 at more than 55 indoor pool locations throughout Northeast Ohio. Register today for a complete list of pool locations and to start your online fundraising efforts!

Please note that some pools are participating on a day other than May 14, 15, 16. These dates are indicated on the pool list and registration form.

What is this event about?
The Verizon Wireless Swim for Diabetes, now in its 25th year, is the major fundraiser for the Diabetes Association of Greater Cleveland (a local, independent organization, not affiliated with the American Diabetes Association or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation). Participants may participate as an individual or a team and collect pledges per length or flat donations to support their participation in the event. Ask your family, friends, and coworkers to sponsor you or, better yet, ask them to join you in the pool and form a team!

We encourage you to register online so you can get a head start on your fundraising.

Every dollar you raise stays right here in Northeast Ohio to support prevention and risk assessment, diabetes education, and Camp Ho Mita Koda for children with diabetes.
