Steven P. Arnold Walkathon to Benefit DAGC

History of Walk
Since 1986, the Lambda Kappa-Beta chapter of Beta Theta Pi has held an annual Walkathon for Diabetes in memory of Steven P. Arnold, CWRU ‘84. Steve died in 1985 from diabetes complicated heart disease and was an active member of the Beta Theta Pi fraternity at Case Western Reserve University. Proceeds from the event support a diabetes education fund at the Diabetes Association of Greater Cleveland (DAGC). DAGC is a local, independent nonprofit organization dedicated to improving the lives of people affected by type 1 and type 2 diabetes in Northeast Ohio.

Walk Details
The Walkathon will take place on Saturday, October 9, 2010 at 1pm. The Walkathon will start at Leutner Pavilion on the north side of Case Western Reserve University’s campus at 1619 Mistletoe Drive. There is plenty of parking on nearby streets. The walk will go around campus and through University Circle.
